RAGNAR RELAY CHALLENGE

With a common goal and miles of support, Ragnar Relays are the epitome of teamwork, but they only last (an exhilarating) two days. No longer. Another Mother Runner is thrilled to announce a brand-new training challenge specifically for Ragnar Relays.

The Train Like a Mother Ragnar Relay Challenge allows teammates to bond with and motivate each other while following a comprehensive 12-week training plan and receiving expert guidance along the way.

The 12-week long Train Like a Mother Ragnar Relay Challenges are available in two versions: Finish It (best for beginner runners) or Crush It (suited for intermediate runners). There are separate plans for both road and trail relays.

The programs are designed and coached by Jennifer Gill, MPH, a RRCA-certified Running Coach, NASM-certified Personal Trainer and NASN-licensed Sports Nutritionist. Gill is based in San Diego, and has run a variety of Ragnars and coached athletes through them as well.

  • 3-5 runs/walks that build strength + endurance specifically for Ragnar
  • 2 strength training circuits (about 20 minutes each)
  • Suggestions for foam rolling/nutrition/hydration
  • At least one full day of rest
