Ragnar Trail New England-MA is an adventure that combines classic East Coast trail running with camping, billions of stars and unforgettable stories. The trails of Northfield Mountain in Western Massachusetts are tough, just like the New Englanders who run them.

This is like summer camp for adults, with the thrill and excitement you have come to know and love from Ragnar Trail! Challenge yourself on pristine rolling single track as you traverse enchanted green forests, streams, rocky outcrops and 2,700 feet of total elevation gain.

In Ragnar Trail relays, teams of 8 (or 4 for ultra teams) run relay-style day and night on three different single track loops that start and finish at Ragnar Village. And when you’re not running, enjoy bonfires, s’mores, and a festival atmosphere.

Run. Camp. Sleep? Repeat.

STEP ONE: BUILD YOUR TEAM
The race excitement really sinks in the moment you've finalized your team of 8 adventurous friends. Here are three simple tips that make team building easy.

STEP TWO: REGISTER
Early bird gets the worm. Sign up early for the lowest prices. Not to mention more time to train. Speaking of...

STEP THREE: START TRAINING
15-ish miles split into three legs = doable. With a little training, anyone can conquer a Ragnar, especially with your built-in support crew and the understanding that Ragnar is about fun – not about breaking land speed records. GET STARTED

5 Reasons to Ragnar

1. A RUN-CATION WITH FRIENDS
Eight friends (or four ultra-running friends) pack the tents, lawn chairs, inflatable dinosaur, twinkle lights, and cooler for a weekend away. Oh, and don't forget your running shoes. There's more to this vacation than relaxing at your campsite.

2. SHOW YOURSELF YOU CAN
Run three legs totaling 15+ miles. Pull an all-nighter. Charge (or trudge) up hills. Because you are hardcore. (Or you will be afterward.)

3. RAGNAR VILLAGE: YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Tents lined with goodies, a non-stop schedule of activities, endless s’mores by bonfire light, perfect stargazing and a team campsite to settle in for the weekend. This is summer camp for grown-ups.

4. A COURSE LIKE NO OTHER

It’s not often you get to run three different loops with three different views along a beautiful mountainside along the Connecticut River. Explore the wooden bridges, winding trails and expansive fields of Northfield Mountain. Curve through fields of ferns, hop over fallen logs and play amongst the oak, pine and maple trees. If you’re not already in love with trail running, you will be.

5. AN UNRIVALED VALUE
Your entry fee includes two days laced with adventure, camping, a hot meal, bottomless s'mores, quality race medals, a comfy Ragnar t-shirt, awesome sponsor swag, yoga, a certified sustainable event, and a team of friends to enjoy it all with. This is the stuff you’ll be talking about for years.
