Reebok Ragnar So Cal is part of the Double Medal Series. Run both Reebok Ragnar So Cal and Reebok Ragnar Napa Valley and earn the coveted Ragnar Republic Double Medal. You can also earn the Ragnar Repbulic Double Medal if you run both Reebok Ragnar SoCal and Ragnar Trail Los Coyotes-CA.
LOTTERY DETAILS
Starting on August 4th, Ragnarians can enter the lottery for a chance to get into the 2017 Reebok Ragnar So Cal race.
- To enter, Team Captains can pay a $24 refundable application fee plus a 5.75% ($1.38) service fee. If you don’t get in, your money will be refunded and yes, even the service fee. If you do get in, the application fee will be applied towards your registration fees ($1,740 for Regular teams of 12 and $1,200 for Ultra teams of 6).
- Lottery will be open for three weeks and will close on August 25th at 11:59 pm.
- 500 Team spots will be available through the lottery.
- Registration will be $1,740* for Regular teams ($145/runner) and $1,200* for Ultra teams ($120/runner). The 6-pack option will not be available. *A standard service fee of 5.75% will apply.
- Only Captains should enter the lottery. If multiple runners from one team enter the lottery in an attempt to increase your odds at being selected and are selected each runner will be responsible for the full cost of the team. Getting In
- On August 25th, Ragnar will conduct a random drawing to determine which Team Captains can enter their team into the race. We will notify all teams via email on September 1st about their status into the race.
- If you get in, the remaining registration amount will be charged directly to your credit card on September 1st. For Regular teams the balance will be $1,716.00 + a 5.75% ($98.67) service fee. For Ultra teams the balance will be $1,176.00 + a 5.75% ($67.62) service fee.
- Team Captains that are selected will have their registration transferred from the Lottery directly into the Reebok Ragnar So Cal registration.
- Team Captains that are not selected will have their $24 refundable application fee + 5.75% service fee refunded within two to three weeks.
How to Increase Your Odds?
Each captain will receive one entry into the Reebok Ragnar So Cal lottery. To thank our loyal Ragnarians for the years they have supported the Reebok Ragnar So Cal race, all Team Captains that have run the race in the past will receive one additional entry into the lottery for each year they have run the race. For example, you will receive three additional entries into the lottery if you ran in 2015, 2013 and 2012. So make sure to pick your captains wisely!
VIP Registration
The VIP Registration period has now closed. Past Reebok Ragnar So Cal runners who entered during the VIP period have successfully secured their spot for 2017!
